Rejected editorial cartoon.

Rejected editorial cartoon.

I did this to illustrate a web based zine political editorial. It was rejected, but I still had a lot of fun doing it.

Hohoho

Hohoho

A late entry in the Icarus Workshops, project Hoho uses deuterium-cheerium fusion to propulse the Icarus HoHoHo up to 5% of the speed of light.
The large radiators use high emissivity biological fractal surfaces knows as ‘needles’ to transmit a maximum of radiation.
The tanks are color coded so the Electro Logarithmic Vehicle Enhancing Servorobots, the ‘elves’, can easily identify them once they are empty and ensure adequate maintenance. The propulsion is provided by the ‘Stardrive’ a laser driven pellet fusion engine.

Trajectoral traditions

Trajectoral traditions

poem by Gary Bowers, illustration by me.

I have no idea if Gary had Baumgartner’s jump in mind or if this association is entirely fanciful, but the kiss brought back ┬áthe memory of that mad jump and fall.
