Jean Daniel Graduation

Jean Daniel Graduation

The school asked for a tribute text for my son. So why not do it in the wonderful style of Gary W. Bowers, poet extraordinaire?

This is more than derivative, it’s outright imitation! But that’s a bit the point, really đŸ˜‰

What a magnificent blend of image and poetry, Michel! I am going to stare at this for awhile and grindingly envy your compositional genius! –It’s not imitation at all, it’s Challenge-Meeting with Flying Colors! Formidable!!

  2. Thanks! Glad you like it. I’m rather happy with it myself, and no other dad will have done one, I suspect. Eventually, I may actually do one that rhymes, which is a whole other magnitude of difficulty, and billions of miles from any comfort zone of mine!
